Are you ‘PUSHING’ your business forward?
Do you have a sales quota, and nothing is going to stop you?
Focus and determination in business is needed and admirable!
I want to start this blog by saying just that! We need to be determined, we need to know where we are going, we need forward movement, we need to know what we want to attain.
All of this is brain knowledge and soul work.
It is when we move all this to ‘action’ that I want to write and share on.
I find all those sentences above to be good for my soul, my brain, and get me excited and pumped up! I feel like I’m in a concert and cheering!
It is when I move that excitement and energy towards others and into action that I see many come across as loud, aggressive, and downright scary.
If I am not at the concert with you – and you come into my Zen filled space with that concert energy, how do you think I’m going to feel and respond?
Excitement versus Aggression!

That moment you slide into my private messages with your business agenda – I see it as aggressive. I see it as being all about you! I see it as talking AT me, not with me.
Those moments you post on social media every 2 hours about YOUR opportunity – I see it as being all about you, not conversational, not sociable at all and well I’m tuning out.
That moment …
We dress for the weather – right?
Do you take the temperature of the room you are entering?
Do you look around at those in the room and get a feel for who they are, what they are interested in, what moments they are at in their life?
Do you pause?
Do you dress your words for the audience and atmosphere?
I may love being in shorts 24/7 but it’s just not feasible to do in many weeks and months of the year up here in Canada. I dress for the weather, I push down what I may want, enjoy and love to match what the climate dictates as acceptable.
Be excited! Be driven! Be focused!
Dress for the weather in your words, actions, and approaches.
Easier to attract that butterfly than swing a net at it and have it fleeing away!
